Bike Training to Discover How to Ride Safely

By Shawn J. Hess

Though you can learn to ride a motorbike on your own, you don't really have to, and this is not necessarily the best way to go. There are a wide variety of motorbike coaching courses that you can attend to learn how to ride safely and learn all of the abilities important to pass the test to get the motorcycle endorsement added to your drivers license.

Different courses are set up in other ways. However, most bike coaching courses will include some lecture room instruction as well as some riding instruction. Before you spend lots of time riding a motorcycle, it's best to understand what to do in different eventualities that might occur, and how to avoid scenarios that could be perilous. They will also teach you about the best protective clothing to wear.

It needs a certain amount of practice to become used to the different controls of the bike, as well as learning to make the bike perform like an extension of your own body. You must be ready to ride well enough to ride safely on public roads, and a bike training course will help you prepare for this.

Online: Questions on learning how to ride a motorcycle

Besides the basic bike training courses, there are more sophisticated courses available that are intended for folks who need to get more complicated riding skills for their jobs. This includes some people in the military, as well as bike cops. These courses have a tendency to be shorter than the basic courses that are available, and they are usually pretty much all riding courses without much in the way of classroom instruction since the folks that take these courses already know the basics of motorbike riding.

There are some major benefits to taking a coaching course. First off, there are a number of states that actually waive the riding portion of the motorcycle endorsement exam if you take a licensed training course. Insurance is also discounted a lot of times if you have taken a course like this. This makes it beneficial to take the course even when it isn't needed, and you believe you can probably get by without it. - 30329

Ford Harley Davidson F150 - More Than Just A Truck

By A R Thompson

The Ford F150 truck has now been in production for well over 30 years now and initially when it appeared on the scene it was more commonly referred to as the "heavy half ton" by the company. Simply because the F100 was also still in production at this time. Yet it took another 24 years before Ford finally came out with a new version and which they worked on in conjunction with another iconic vehicle company, namely Harley Davidson Motorcycles. So in 1999 the Ford Harley Davidson F150 was born.

Although this particular truck has been around for less than 10 years there are certainly many people who love the design and looks of it. But with all Ford vehicles and even those they make in collaboration with other motor vehicle companies hold true to the companies believes. But with this particular one it also takes into consideration the believes and philosophies that the Harley Davidson Motorcycle Company hold dear to their heart as well. Below we take a look at the 2006 and 2007 models of this vehicle and which will be come extremely popular with both Harley Davidson and Ford enthusiasts the world over.

1. The 2006 Ford Harley Davidson F150 Supercab - A beautiful looking vehicle which provides the rough and ruggedness you expect from a Ford truck but with the added benefits of some beautiful custom detailing, such as you would see on a Harley Davidson motorcycle. The exterior of the vehicle monotone but comes with a custom scalloped red paint stripe running the complete length of the vehicle which is then further accentuated by electric blue. Along with this custom paintwork on the vehicle at set intervals along the vehicles belt line you will find the Harley Davidson script.

In order to provide the vehicle with a much more menancing look and bring it into line with the kinds of looks that Harley Davidson motorcycles have. Ford have chosen to provide it with a chrome billet grille, plus the headlamps and taillights have also been blacked out. Finally they have included highly polished 22 inch forged aluminum rims to further add to its menacing looks.

2. The 2007 Ford Harley Davidson F150 Supercrew - Unlike the 2006 Supercab this particular model of F150 trucks exterior is not only available in monotone black but also in a rich amethyst color as well. Which is only one of the major differences between these two models. They both come with the 22 inch forged aluminum wheels which have been polished and a chrome grille. This vehicle also comes with both its headlights and taillights blacked out as you will soon discover all models of the Ford Harley Davidson F150 do.

The major difference between the 2006 Supercab and the 2007 Supercrew is what is under the hood. A person who purchases the 2007 model has the option of having a supercharger fitted to the Harley Davidson engine. This is normally to be found on Ford's Shelby GT500 and once fitted to this F150 will give the owner 450 break horsepower.

Along with a number of refinements to the exterior of the vehicle, Ford have made some changes to the interior of the F150 cab as well. It provides the people encased within with the feeling that they are out on the open road riding along on a Harley Davidson.

The captains chairs within the Ford Harley Davidson F150 are completely unique as the leather used has had the Harley Davidson logo embedded into them. Plus through the addition of lots of chrome accessories within the cab have further added to the feel of it being a completely customized vehicle just like the motorcycles it has been named after. - 30329

New York Motorcycle Club Run

By L.J. James

Do you remember the Story of 11-year-old Carlie Brucia? Carlie was the little girl from LI NY who while staying with her mother down in FL was kidnapped and murdered on Super Bowl Sunday, 2004. Her abduction was captured on video in front of the car wash where she was Kidnapped by Joseph P. Smith, who has since been found Guilty of first-degree murder, sexual battery and kidnapping.

Powerful Tips To Help You Get Good Car Tires

By Melvin Sentrovski

Frankly, there are millions of things a car owner can do than purchase tires for his car. However, if you just run out and buy any old tires without doing your homework and weighing the options, you are likely to spend more money than you need to.

Whether you have a car, a van, a truck, or a sport/utility or crossover vehicle, it is possible to get a good buy on tires. It isn't necessary to pay top price for tires; although prices can vary widely, affordable tires are available if you look.

Please continue reading and we will explore some basic and significant hints to assist you when you are looking for car tires.

Change All Four Tires - When you require new tires, replace them all at once. In general, you can obtain the best deal by purchasing a full set and retailers will frequently offer specials such as buy three, get one free. Further, if you will change all your tires at one time, you can be certain of their wearing evenly.

Shop Online, Use Coupons - I prefer to shop on the Internet for almost everything, to include car tires. Now, I do not actually purchase the car tires on the web, but I do my comparison shopping over the Internet to find the most reasonable local pricing. You will find that identical tires will have extremely different prices from store to store.

Select High Mileage Tires - If you will be maintaining your vehicle for a while, do not short yourself with a 40,000 mile warranty. Compare the many 60-, 70-, or 80,000 mile tires that you will find offered for your car. It is probable that you will find the cost of higher mileage car tires to be somewhat more expensive, but you will recapture that expense over time.

Have Other Work Performed - When you are changing your car tires, have the retailer perform any other work that is necessary. While they have your vehicle anyway, get the other work done and it is likely that you will save on the cost of labor.

Choose Wisely: Before buying, determine that you've chosen the right tires for your automobile and usage. You can find helpful information about the tires your vehicle needs both inside the driver's side door and in the operator's manual. - 30329

A 250cc Scooter Is As Powerful As A Lot Of Motorcycles

By Bill B. Sheers

Did you ever wonder why shoes you bought in the 1970's always seems to be in again 25 years later? Two wheelers are really the same way. The reality is, many of these companies are playing up the trend and coming out with scooters that look retro. The Metropolitan from Honda and the GVS from Vespa actually look like a form of older versions.

At just about the 20th century, scooters made there way to the market in Europe. They resembled what we think of as a moped in this day and age. A bike with a motor attached is kind of a crude way to think of it. By the late 1910's people in the USA were driving scooters, but they still never reached the popularity of the auto mobile. Here is a look at some of the better know scooters on the market today:

Cushman --The Cushman Company produced motor scooters from 1936 to 1965 and they were most widely used during WWII. If you've ever seen some of those old WWII documentaries or films, these are most likely what the GI's are cruising around on.

Mitsubishi -- One of the first scooters made in Japan was the Mitsubishi Silver Pigeon. It was a scooter largely made of warplane wheels and discarded warplane parts, believe it or not.

Vespa Motor Scooters -- If you had a scooter in Europe after WWI, it was almost certainly a Vespa. To this day, they are still one of the most popular scooters in the world.

The Honda Power-sports -- By the end of the 50's, Honda introduced the Super Cub to the world. This little scooter went on to become the best selling scooter of all-time.(worldwide) With that Honda reliablity, I wouldn't be surprised if you could find one of these running today.

They have built a lot of different models since the Cub in 1958. The fact that they have sold more scooters than any other company worldwide should give you a pretty good idea of what kind of scooter you can expect from this company.

It's cool that they are bringing back the retro scooter look. Most of them are just for looks and will come with 4 stroke engines that are water cooled instead of 2 stroke engines. Fuel injection is also a key feature that has been added to the newer versions.

What is old becomes new again. - 30329

Law Bans Biker Colors In Bars & Restaurants. Is This The Last Straw?

By L.J. James

There is a new law in Virginia that will ban Motorcycle Club Colors in Bars. The law, originally aimed at Street Gangs, is causing quite a stir with Virginia Bikers. The law states that Bar & Restaurant owners will lose their liquor license if they allow patrons who wear "gang" related attire such as Club Logo's or Colored Bandannas.

These sort of "grey area" laws are extremely dangerous and a threat to everyone's freedom. Who decides what constitutes "Gang Apparel"? I'm wondering if Boy Scouts are going to be able to eat together at Applebees if they are in their uniforms.

According to news reports, many Bikers and Motorcycle Club Members in Virginia have already begun fighting this law. If a law like this is allowed to stand in Virginia, it won't be long until it is passed in other states across America!

We as Motorcyclists and Bikers (It does not matter what you call yourself) have to realize fast that we are all connected. It doesn't matter what you ride, what State you live in or who you Support, we're all in this together. What effects Me effects you and it doesn't matter what you happen to think of me.

When the local Bar you and your Brothers love hanging out at is told that you and all other members of Motorcycle Clubs can no longer go there or they will revoke the Bars liquor license, What then?

This is no Joke my Biker Brothers, every month there is another new law that is aimed not only Motorcycle Club Members, but all Americans. It seems that every time the Government wants to take away a freedom, they find a way to craft a new law for our "safety". What kind of Country is this turning into when you can't wear what you want and suddenly, your constitutional right to assemble is taken away from you?

Although there are many ignorant people out there that believe Motorcycle Clubs are Gangs, that's simply not the case. Most Motorcycle Clubs are made up of hard working, honest, law abiding, patriotic, American Citizens who enjoy a common bond, Motorcycles. It's what is in a persons heart that determines who they are, not the clothes they wear.

In the past year the government has taken away the Colors of one Motorcycle Club. A law enforcement officer can demand anyone sporting the Clubs logo to forfeit it. The theory is that the loss of the logo strips the club of its "gang identity."

Grant it, it appears that some of the Clubs members may have been involved in illegal activities, but that doesn't mean that everyone who rides a Motorcycle should be punished for it. In fact, less than 10% of this 600 Member Club was even accused of wrong doing.

In addition, the Government and law enforcement agencies have been spending millions of our dollars to influence friends and ex-members of Motorcycle Clubs in an effort to infiltrate these clubs in hopes of catching members doing something illegal. Often, when they find that the Club they've infiltrated is nothing more than a group of Patriotic, Law Abiding Men & Women, they'll fabric wrong doing so that they can justify the enormous amount of resources spent on these Fishing Expeditions.

Just imagine how much better off we'd all be if they used those resources to investigate the Corrupt Politicians, the Corporations that control our Country, Wall Street, and the other issues that are quickly sinking this great Nation.

What I want to know is, what will be the last straw? What's it going to take for us to say enough is enough? We can not fight these Laws and Fight each other at the same time! We need to work together to save what we are, who we are.

The Government has taken away our rights to ride the Motorcycle we want, to wear what we want and now to go where we want! Why are we still fighting each other? When are we going to wake up??

Hogcooler.com-A New Easy Way to Stay Comfortable and Proud With Hog Cooler Leather Motorcycle Jacket

By Bill Nichols

If you are a motorcycle rider and have not heard about the all new Hog Cooler leather motorcycle jacket then your in for a great surprise! Hog Cooler has created in my option one of the greatest easy to use cooling and heating leather motorcycle jackets out on the market today. In fact there leather motorcycle jacket is a one of a kind.

Anyone who rides a motorcycle knows the hassles of trying to stay cool in the summer time and staying warm in the winter. Bikers love their motorcycle leather jackets and vests but find them to be a hassle wearing them in the summer. This is because they are black leather and they attract the heat from the sun. This makes the riders hot and uncomfortable.

It's the same problem in the winter except instead of being hot the riders are cold and uncomfortable. With this being said the riders are left to choosing to wear there proud colors of their vests and deal with the hot and cold weather or not wear them at all. Of course the riders are going to wear their leather motorcycle jackets to show their respect to their club.

This is why the guys over at Hogcooler.com set out to develop the Hog Cooler Leather Motorcycle Vest and Jacket. This system solves the problem of staying cool in summer and warm in winter and does it without any complicated hardware or messy heat and cold packs that have to be recharged. This system was designed for real everyday riders by real everyday riders.

The way that the system works is real simple. You order you new custom built leather biker jacket or vest and they will create is for you out of top grain 100% pure cowhide black leather. Just send them the colors and artwork and they will work that up for you too. If you have a lot of run patches or flags just pull them off the old vest or jacket and send them along with the order and they will place them before the final product is assembled. When you new jacket arrives it will come with a saddle bag cooler insert that you fill with ice and a connector hose that links the cooler bag with your jacket. That's it just ride and all day you will stay cooler and comfortable at an average of 65 degrees even on the hottest of summer days in the full noon day sun.

When the weather starts to get cool you just hook a couple of simple connect wires to your bike and plug in the connector on the jacket and you will be kept warm and toasty all winter long no matter two far down the mercury gets. The best part is that the whole system only draws four amps from the bike, that's less than you turn signal! And since it is bike powered you don't have to worry about special batteries or having to recharge energy packs to power the heating system, as long as your on you bike and the engine running your upper body will be warm.

Without a doubt the folks at Hogcooler.com have got it right with this one. The Hog Cooler Leather Motorcycle Vest and Jacket Systems are top gear. They are easy to use, look great and are affordable pricing in at about the same as a regular vest or jacket of similar quality. With the Hog Cooler Leather Motorcycle Jacket or Vest you will be able to ride in comfort year round and still show you biker pride. - 30329

Be Proud to Be An MC

By L.J. James

Think about the words Motorcycle Club! Why is it that when those words are heard together many think Crime or Criminal Organization? Say you are having an event and you are looking for a place to have it. You can have a book club and everyone will welcome you in! A cooking club and everyone really loves you. You say Motorcycle Club and right away its, Sorry we are busy on that day!

Motorcycle Clubs are even turned away from bars where they want to have events by Independent Bikers, Why is that? We need to let the world know that Bikers independent or in a Motorcycle Club can be good people! We can not show people that Motorcycle Club Members are not all bad if we are not allowed in a Bar because we are wearing Colors, Its the same thing if you are an independent biker and some one will not let you in some sports bar because you are wearing a leather jacket! I hope when an independent Biker who has turned away Motorcycle Clubs from his bar and is then turned away from a bar he wants to go in Understands the irony!

Some Motorcycle Clubs have even gone so far as to changed their name, they call themselves Riding Clubs, Motorcycle associations or some other type of group so they can leave out the words Motorcycle Club! and try to avoid the problems that come with being part of a Motorcycle Club! They say they are different from a Motorcycle Club ! They look and dress and act just like a motorcycle Club but they just call themselves something different! I say a rose by any other name !!!

These Clubs are just trying to get around all the prejudice associated with the words Motorcycle Club ! They are not part of the solution but are part of the problem! This is America and You can call your Club what ever you want, But the thing that unites you and your Club is the same thing that unites all who Ride! It is the Motorcycle! How can anyone leave out the word Motorcycle? It is the heart of what you are!

If You are a Motorcycle Club be proud of it and don't try to get around any problems by playing word games and calling yourself something else by using different words!!! This is just my opinion I would like to know what others think, Please email me at AmericanBikerX@Yahoo.com

Live To Ride Ride To Love

By L.J. James

When I received the Novel "Iron Horse Rider" from the Author Adelle "Legs" Laudan I have to admit I was expecting a book about a Biker fighting and causing trouble. You know your Typical Biker Bad Boy Story. What I received was something I was not expecting at all.

The Novel Tells the story of a hardcore biker named Shane, Shane had always kept women at arms length and showed them no emotion, That was until he met Kelly. Try as he might this biker who had always kept to himself could not fight off his feelings for her and soon found himself Married to the Women of his dreams.

After 10 years of Marriage Kelly is taken from Shane in a Tragic accident while they are Ridding. Shane finds everything around him reminds him of Kelly, His home, his shop, even his Clubhouse. His Brother's try to Support and comfort him, but the looks of sorrow in their eyes for him is more then Shane can bare. He soon realizes staying in the world He has Known and loved is not an option. Soon Shane is on his Iron Horse with the wind in his face and no destination! As Shane rides He finds the pain he feels for his loss begin to lessen!

With advice from a Mysterious Biker he keeps running into, Shane finds himself at a Micmac Indian Camp. Shane is welcomed into the Camp by the Tribes Chief and soon finds himself becoming Friends with the Chief's Daughter Tia who has recently lost her Husband! While the two Share their pain they soon begin to feel something for each other. Is it possible for either of them to feel love again while still suffering from such a great loss? A member of Tia's Tribe is taking no chances and tells Shane to stay away from Tia. He soon finds out you never tell a Biker like Shane what to do!

I found the writing in this novel while in no way simplistic was easy to read. I also found the story easy to follow ! Adelle "Legs" Laudan describes and expresses the feelings of Biker Brotherhood perfectly. When She explains Shane's feelings while Riding you can see in your mind where he is and you can almost feel the wind in your Face!

In life we all have our worlds we live in, When something Terrible happens sometimes We cling to what We know. Shane does what He as a true Biker must after such a terrible loss, He goes out and finds not only a new life but a new World to live in for a while.

I have to say I enjoyed the story. It was not what I was expecting or would usually read but I found I could not put the book down. I think some Men who Ride will enjoy this book, While many I feel will find it a little too much of a Romance novel! I do believe almost all Women who has ever ridden a Motorcycle or dated a Man who rode one will love this Novel.

As I know now Adelle "Legs" Laudan is a writer of Motorcycle Romance Novels, She works to promote the image of Motorcycling one book at a time! To order Iron Horse Rider or other Novels by Adelle "Legs" Laudan including the upcoming Iron Horse Rider 2 go to http://adellelaudan.com/IronHorseRider.html

If You Need Cheap Tires Make Sure You Read Up On This

By Kyle Loroft

Drivers certainly understand the significance of purchasing a good tire for safe driving. But there are those people who think that the high quality tires are very expensive.

Although that may have some basis in fact, it is not always true. Today, the choice of tires is seemingly endless and cheap tires have established a niche market to assist those who have budgets that are strained.

If you want to find great deals on cheap tires, you should definitely adhere to the ratings and sizes set forth by the factory for every tire. If you don't follow these guidelines, the parts of your car can become mismatched, and you might purchase improper tires.

Be choosy about the tire's specifications even when you shop for cheap tires. You need to remember that opting for a good, cheap tire does not mean that you have to sacrifice on quality and performance.

You should find a reputable shop - especially if you plan on purchasing your tires on the internet. Inquire about the warranty in your tires, the warranty on mileage, and the complete pricing should your tire be delivered directly to you. If at all possible, you should seek out shops which will also install your tire so you won't have to seek out another shop to service your car. If you're able to install tires by yourself, this can save you a lot of cash and be better for your budget. You should also be wary of websites that seem questionable or shady.

When buying tires, search for those that are made by manufacturers you are familiar with. This will guarantee that you'll stay within budget and still get a solid tire. You may also wish to try and find discount tire shops. By doing this, you can find reputable tires for up to 50% off of the retail price. You want to get everything that you're paying for, so be certain that these discount tires are in working condition.

You only need to use common sense to get the best deals on cheap tires. It is critical to get good quality even when you pay less to avoid having to buy yet another tire in a short period of time. - 30329

How risky is motorcycle insurance?

By Graham McKenzie

What is the first word you think and associate with people who drive motorcycles? How about irresponsible, reckless, crazy, dumb, adrenaline junkies? All of those words are common perceptions of bike riders. Unfortunately, not all motorcycle riders fit into that category but it's the few irresponsible riders that give the transportation a bad rep.

People love the thrill and adrenaline rush of cruising at high speeds down a highway with only two wheels supporting your weight. They love the feeling of the air crashing against the side of their face. However, too often people go too fast and lose control of their bike. The accidents are tragic and often deadly.

But for every irresponsible accident there are ten outstanding and safe motorcycle drivers. So no matter what you use a motorcycle for, there are ways to help keep your insurance premium down and still have a great time on that passion of yours.

Like a person who drivers a car, every motorcycle rider needs handled on an individual basis. Not all drivers are as dumb or crazy as other riders. The insurance industry understands that fact, and deals with motor bike riders on a case-by-case basis.

Once you pass the test all motorcyclists must take and earn your license you now have the power to purchase a motorcycle and ride. But you need to make sure you are insured and take the necessary steps to staying safe and being protected from accidents.

Insurance brokers are willing to reward riders who take part in safety courses and additional motorcycle driving courses by offering a cheaper premium. Experience is vital, and insurance companies will go a long way to reward it.

Brokers will also analyze a motorcycle's past driving record. If there is a pattern of speeding tickets, reckless driving, or accidents ? the company will be quick to pull the trigger. In fact, they might not even offer a quote. Nothing speaks louder than a clean past driving record. Brokers will reward that as well.

Premiums will also raise no matter how clean the driving record is or how much experience the driver features, due to the fact that bikes are easy to steal. They are out in the open and many thieves view them as cheap and easy snags. So unless you have a tracking device or other security features, an insurance provider is going to stay hesitant on your investment.

Take the necessary steps if you really want to own a motor bike. Gain the experience; work on your driving record and plant tracking devices on the bike in case of theft. Do all these important steps and you will see a much cheaper premium. - 30329

Quick guide - Road Legal Quad Bike

By Andrew Sutton

Road legal quad bikes first became popular in the United Kingdom before they spread to other parts of the world. The bikes can be used on roads so long as one has the required license, though road laws normally differ in most countries. Quad bikes can be defined as automobiles with four or three wheels, which can be driven by mostly adults or individuals who are above the age of 16 or 18 years depending on the state laws. In the early 1970s, road quads had three wheels and they were known to be three-wheeled machines that later evolved to be a four-wheeled bike now known as a quad bike or road legal quad bikes.

Originally, quads where off-road machines also known as All Terrain Vehicles or ATV and as a result manufactures opted to change designs to make these machines all purpose vehicles in order to satisfy consumer demands. Hence, quad bikes became very popular in the early 1990s after a four-wheeled quad-bike model was introduced to European markets by mostly Chinese manufacturers and other Asian countries. The new model was very modern and it did not limit consumers since they were able to be used for different purposes such as mountain clubbing and motor racing. Even children were able to use them since the new on road quad bikes catered more for the safety of users.

With several modifications, the demand for road legal quad bikes increased because now the bikes could be used on roads and even off-road, hence the brand increased with the market simultaneously. Basically, road legal quad bikes operate somehow like motorcycles, but the main difference is that the former has additional two wheels for more stability mostly during low acceleration. Additionally, road quad bikes have low-pressure tires and a steering control supported by handle bars and their design allows them to maneuver through any kind of terrain and can also legally move on roads.

There are several types of road legal quad bikes for instance children miniature quads, sort racing quad bikes and automatic quad bikes to mention but a few. However, the main determinant of quad bike models is the engine size, which ranges from about 50cc to 1000cc. There are some quad bike models that do not have sway bars; hence they will use a suspension attached onto the wheels of the legal quad bike. The automatic model is suitable for children since it does not require changing the quad gears each time the quad bike is moving.

The prices of street legal quads vary according to model and this cannot hold anyone back from purchasing these bikes since there are different models that can fit any budget. However, one should watch-out since some retailers offer quad bikes that do not meet set standards and might not be suitable for road use. Secondly, individuals who decide to order quad bikes through online means need to do research on the company selling quad bikes before making any purchases in order to avoid internet scams. Lastly, make it a point to test the quad bike before purchasing it, to avoid any future mishaps. - 30329

Never Sacrifice Safety In Considering Purchasing Discount Helmets

By Amanda Beaty

Your favorite sports will mostly require a safety helmet to play. Even if it is not a requirement you run a better chance of injury not wearing a helmet. Discount helmets are available across America that meets your needs and budget.

Many people think that using one helmet for a different sport is okay. Just because you have a helmet on does not mean that it was intended for physical injury of another sport. It is wise to invest in another helmet if you intend to use it for a different sport. More than half a million are treated each year for head injuries or worse by not wearing proper head gear.

Helmets are regulated by the U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) that develop standard of approval for any helmet sold in the United States whether made here or not. The CPSC raised standards in 1999 due to overwhelming demand. Of course there are helmets sold that do not meet the approval out there, so you need to know that in purchasing a discount helmet that is has the CPSC approval rating on the helmet before you buy.

Children are the most important thing in the world and their safety does not have a price. When choosing a helmet for your child you can go online and check the exact helmet that works for your child's age. The way they are made is different from adults as they cover more of the cranial area. Many sites online have demonstrations of proper wear of a helmet on a child.

No matter how good the helmet it still needs to be worn in the manner of design. A child's helmet should come down over the forehead before being strapped at the chin. This is also true for skateboarding helmets and helmets for snow skiing. Often kids will push back the helmet off the forehead causing potential danger that the helmet will not protect the frontal area. Ensure that the CPSC stamp is on any helmet purchased for your child.

Each year thousands of motorcycle riders are saved from death during an accident for the sole reason that they were wearing a DOT approved helmet. The fight remains in some states for the right to choose to wear a helmet. Statistic prove otherwise that more fatalities occur when the rider in not wearing a helmet. The debate will most likely continue until all states have mandatory helmet laws.

With knowledge on your side you are ready to shop for a helmet at discounted pricing. You can find helmets in stores or online. You may even get lucky and find a gently used helmet at a garage sale. Make sure you have the person with you that you are shopping for to ensure proper fit. It you wish to give as a gift you can always give a gift card for one. A lot of retail bikes shops give you a helmet with purchase of a bike.

If you are looking for personalization in your discount helmets you can get that too. Many companies offer quantity discounting and free shipping. Your sports team or family can get excited that you found discount helmets without breaking the bank. Just make certain that you have the DOT or CPSC approval for your new purchase and enjoy the ride in safety. - 30329

Small Town Brawl!

By L.J. James

It was a quite day in a small Bar in upstate New York . The girl working behind the bar was young, she had just turned Eighteen and had only been bar tending a few weeks, this was her first time working alone. Everything was going fine with only two of the regulars in the back shooting pool it was nothing she could not handle she thought to herself.

Then the front door opened and in walked ten of the biggest men she had ever seen. They talked loudly and as they walked over to the far side of the bar, She got a look at the back of their jackets. She could easily see that the markings on them where all the same. The men ordered pitchers of beer and their talking only got louder as they drank more and talked about things she did not understand. Then the men went quite as the front door opened and in walked seven more large men, at first she thought these seven men where with the first Ten as they looked and dressed similar but as she looked at the markings on the backs of these new comers Jackets she could tell while they where similar the markings where different, By the way the two groups where looking at each other she guessed the difference must mean a lot to them.

The Seven men sat up toward the front of the bar and also ordered pitchers of beer. The young girl did her best to make sure both groups where kept happy, but it was just a matter of time and Beer! When one of the men from the first group called out to her, "Hey Honey don't worry about those guys, there losers! Come over here and hang with some real men." That was all it took, the fuse was lit. "Who you calling losers pal we are good enough to beat you any day of the week!" Yelled back a guy from the second group. "You may think your as good as us but you never will be!" Yelled back a man from the first group.

Then in what was a blur to our young barmaid a fight broke out between the two groups it was loud and she could hear glass and wood breaking all around her as the men cursed and screamed at each other. This young Girl was scared and she feared for her life.

Her fear abated a little when in the distance she heard sirens. The police are coming, she thought to herself as she hid behind the bar. The police arrived in force and they stormed in arresting the men and taking them away. When things got quite and all the men where taken away the young girl looked around the small bar. So much damage she thought to herself, She looked at one of the officers and asked how did you know to come here. We got a call that these two groups where both heading to this bar and we just knew, it happens all the time with these type of guys!!!

Epilogue: The next morning when the young barmaid awoke she walked down stairs to the kitchen where her father was reading the morning paper. Does it say anything about the fight in the bar yesterday she asked her father? Yes he said as he pointed to a small article in the back of the paper "Yankees and Mets fans Brawl it out in small town bar" the story went on to explain how all the men where given tickets for disorderly conduct and released. That's it she screamed at her father these men trash the bar, scare the hell out of me, They should all be in jail and all they get is Tickets!!! Calm down sweetheart her father said as he hugged her, The way your acting one would think it had been a bunch of rowdy Bikers in the bar yesterday! Those Guys would have been locked away, But it was only Sports fans!

What Are The Better Choices For A Youth Dirt Bike And At What Cost

By Dirk Jinkers

Kids love anything with engines and wheel. If you are thinking of buying a youth dirt bike then there are a few things you should consider first. I have been looking for one for my son and put together what I found to save you some time if you are looking as well. These are the most important things I found out though there is much more information available if you still have questions.

You should always put safety first. This can be a dangerous toy for a child or teenager and you want to make sure to take certain steps to help keep them safe. This means that safety features should be the first thing you look at before you purchase a youth dirt bike.

Helmets play a big role in safety. You should always insist that your child wear these when they are on any type of bike or motorized vehicle that they are in charge of. These help to prevent head injuries in case of an accident and most are not very expensive but you will want to get a good one. You want one that is sturdy and durable and wont break on impact.

Good breaks are also an important safety feature. These help to stop quickly if needed and can help to prevent accidents, which lessens the need for things like helmets to begin with. The idea is to prevent the accident from occurring to begin with. If there is an accident then a kill switch is a must have. This kills the motor to prevent injury after an accident occurs including being drug behind if they fall off.

The next thing you will want to look at is the speed of the dirt bikes. You should find one that has a top speed you can feel comfortable with and still make your child happy. We all know that they would love the fastest one available but this could also lead to much more serious injuries.

The size of the bike plays an important role as well. You want a bike that is light enough for your child to handle, tall enough to ride properly, and capable of supporting your child's weight. This can be tricky if you are like me and have a child that is big for their age.

Of course you will want to look at prices. It will probably be best to get a new bike so that you know for sure everything is in good working condition and maybe an extended warranty as well. This is an expensive toy and hard to fix if it gets broken on the first outing. These are called dirt bikes for a reason: they are not street legal. You will also want to take into consideration weather or not your child will have a place to ride them.

A youth dirtbike might be wonderful for some children but you should also consider if your child is mature enough to follow rules and ride safely. Check out all of your options carefully and read all owners manuals. Remember safety should always be your first priority. - 30329

How To Lower Insurance For Sports Cars

By Dave Clark

The idea of going on a long drive in a sports car fascinates every fervent car enthusiast. The excitement generated while driving these exquisite cars is incomparable. The powerful engine, adaptable interiors and craftsmanship are a testament to it's impeccable quality, design and style. The performance and elegance that comes with a sports car makes you forget the meaning of the word compromise. The exceptional ambiance makes you the envy of the town. But these dream machines cost the owner a fortune and same is true about their insurance coverage.

Fast cars are a joy to ride, but are prone to accidents for their extraordinary speed. No matter how skilled a driver you are, no one can preempt an accident. The risk of driving without auto insurance coverage can prove costly if the driver has an accident. In case the accident is of a serious nature involving ongoing medical expenses and hospitalization for a long period, the disregard for insurance can prove to be fatal. So, one should never ignore the importance of the minimum insurance coverage necessary by law.

The fundamental principle that decides your car insurance cost is the type and make of your vehicle, but the cost is also based on the kind of driver that you are. A safe and skilled driver will have to pay substantially less for insurance than an adventurous and risky driver. So, taking a safety driving lesson from a recognized driving institute will help you in lowering the cost of your insurance. Furthermore, if you don't have a history of accidents while driving, then you will be credited appropriately by your insurers for that, too.

An effective tactic to decrease the cost of your car insurance is to raise the security of your car. You must have a good anti-theft and tracking mechanism installed in your car. The visible steering wheel lock is a good deterrent for potential burglars. You can install a kill switch on your car. It's a hidden switch that needs to be flipped every time before starting the car. For additional security you can opt for wheel lock and tire lock, which are similar to circular steel boots and are used by several police departments. The enhanced security for your car acts as concrete evidence to the insurer that you are a responsible owner and will take all precautions in safeguarding your car. This reflects positively on your policy by reducing your premiums.

Lastly, don't pick your insurance policy on the basis of just the price offered. Do some looking around for additional benefits before settling for the policy. Compare the insurance quotes from more than two insurance companies to discern the benefits each of them provides. A good way to speed up the search for insurance and compare different insurance quotes easily is to visit online comparison portals and make use of the insurance calculators on these sites. You may even get some exclusive deal for your sports car through an online search. Once you have the right kind of insurance coverage, you can enjoy the exhilaration that a fast car offers. - 30329

Why Respect The MCs Who Came Before You !

By L.J. James

I want to address a question I have gotten a lot recently. (I am sure it has a lot to do with the hit show Sons of Anarchy) It is from people who want to start new Motorcycle Clubs. They want to know if they should go to the predominate MCs in their area to talk about starting a new MC first. Many have said to me they do not understand the reason why they should go talk to them! Some have even gone as far as to say that if they have to go to the predominate MC in their area and ask permission that just proves that MC is a Criminal Gang! Not sure how they came to that conclusion but they are some very strong words sent over the computer.

I want everyone to remember I am writing this info as a guideline to those who are looking to get into the MC world and individual results may vary. This maybe some new fad to you but to true Motorcycle Club Members this world is everything!

For my answer to this Question I am going to put aside any statements of having to ask permission of the MCs in your area first. I am going to instead ask why would you not speak to the MCs in your area and get their Blessing first before starting a new Motorcycle Club. Many say it's because they are going to start a different type of Motorcycle Club. They may even be calling themselves something different like a Riding Club or a Motorcycle Association. Are your Members going to ride Motorcycles and have patches on their vests? If the answer is yes, Then again why not go speak to those who have come before you and paved the roads you now wish to ride down!

For many I know the reason they don't want to ask is simple fear! Fear of what they do not know or what they think they do know. If it is fear, then it is because you do not know the real Motorcycle Club world! Now every Motorcycle Club in the world is different. But most Motorcycle Clubs don't mind helping to get a new MC started and teach them what it really means to be in a Motorcycle Club, I can guarantee you it is something you will not learn on TV no matter how many episodes you may watch!

Now if you have decided that what you really want is to start up a new Motorcycle Club, One thing I want to make sure you know is something every Father should have taught his Son as a Child and that is "Do not lie and Always do what you say you are going to do" One fact I will also give you is the MC world is all about Respect! If you just start up a new MC without talking to the other clubs in your area that will most likely be seen as disrespectful!

Let's think about some other reasons you would want to talk to the MCs in your area first. You are going to want to make sure your new Patch or MC name is not similar to another Motorcycle Club. Many MCs have worked hard over the years to create a name and image for themselves. They will not like the idea of you either using a name close to theirs or wearing a patch that looks like theirs. The reason being is a simple one, They do not want you being mistaken for them doing anything that would make them look bad. You also could be seen as trying to ride on their coat tails by using the reputation they have worked hard for. You may not understand it now but the MC world is a Brotherhood and if you are fortunate enough to be welcomed into it, You will understand after years of working hard creating a name for your MC. The bottom line is meeting with the MCs in your area and talking with them before starting a new MC is the right thing to do!

Another fear many have is they wrongly believe they will be forced to do things for these other MC's. The only thing most Clubs may ask of you is to come to a few of their events each year have fun and again to show Respect!!!

Now I have heard complaints from many that there are areas where the MCs have decided they do not want any more new MCs! Well all I can do is guess why that might be! The reason I would think that Motorcycle Clubs would say no more Clubs in an area is that there are already a lot of different MCs in that area and they all get along real well. These MCs would not want anything new coming in and messing up the harmony they have created.

Now like I said before the reason most say they want to start a new MC is because they want to start something different then what is in that area. Well often that is not the truth. The real reason People usually want to start a new MC is because they do not want to have to Prospect! If the only reason you want to start a new MC is because you are not willing to prospect, My best advice to you is to stay an independent rider because you will not last long in the Motorcycle Club world anyway!

Why You Need a Motorcycle Jack

By Jack Jacobs

If you've been afflicted with a burning desire to modify and upgrade your new motorcycle then don't worry, you're not alone. There is something about a new motorcycle that inspires men to want to upgrade and modify it. So if you've been wanting to dig into your motorcycle then don't worry, it's perfectly normal.

You will quickly find that if you are going to work on your own motorcycle then one tool that is indispensable is a good quality motorcycle jack. The way motorcycles are designed, you will often have to get them off the ground in order to even the most basic maintenance work and a typical automotive style jack will not work.

A good quality motorcycle jack will always have a safety lock on it that, once set, will not allow the jack to release and drop the motorcycle. It will also be equipped with a strap or a tie down of some sort that will go up and over the bike and lock it to the jack. This tie down will basically anchor the motorcycle to the jack allowing you to wrench on it and in many cases even stand on either end without the motorcycle tipping.

Don't worry that these two features are hard to find or anything like that because they are not. Just about any motorcycle jack will be equipped with these two features but just make sure that you USE them or they do you no good. I have worked on motorcycles for years and I would not consider for a second working on a motorcycle without these two features in place.

If you are concerned about the money you are spending on a motorcycle jack then you need to look at the big picture. The dealerships charge a fortune for even a simple oil change and a good Indy charges a small fortune. You will recover the investment in a motorcycle jack even changing your own oil just one or two times.

The only thing left to figure out is where to buy your motorcycle jack. You may not have many options in your home town but don't worry, you can find a great deal on a motorcycle jack online. I purchased my jack on Ebay and saved a bit over 50 dollars on it. If you do your research, find a couple of different brands that you would be good with, then go buy on Ebay and you will save yourself a lot of money.

Don't compromise on your safety. - 30329

You Do Not Need To Delete Safety In Considering Considering To Buy Discount Helmets

By Amanda Beaty

From riding a bike to playing football America wears a lot of helmets. But is America wearing the proper helmet for the sport and one that meets CPSC standards? Hopefully the answer is yes, but if you are about to purchase discount helmets for your needs you want to make sure that you are not sacrificing safety for cost.

When you purchasing a helmet at discount pricing you still need to ensure that the helmet meets DOT and CSPC safety standards. People each year are saved by wearing helmets. Many do not believe in helmet safety, especially on motorcycles. It is a risk to the rider and a fatal decision.

In'99 the U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission raised the standards on protective helmets. This applies to helmets manufactured in the United States and from other countries when being sold in the U. S. To ensure safety. Since this passing the CPSC standard the protection level has risen to 85 percent for potential head injury.

There is no helmet on the market today that can guarantee a head injury will not occur but regulations have made them safer. Children grow quickly so you need to make sure their helmet still fits them properly while they grow. A child's helmet should fit securely around the forehead to ensure safety when being worn. Often in purchasing a larger bike as your child grows out of theirs includes a new helmet as well.

Many children don't like the way a helmet feels. Teaching them early that being safe means wearing a helmet properly will ensure that they keep this habit as adults. Children's helmets are made to curve around the side of the head and protect the front cranial area. Make sure you look for the CPSC approval on the helmet you are purchasing.

The Department of Motor Safety is a federal agency that regulates helmet safety for motorcycles. Helmets that pass American standards of safety come with DOT approval. Riding a street bike is dangerous, especially in larger cities while going high speed or in severe weather. Choosing to not wear a helmet is a risk you can't afford to take. Many lobby for the right to choose to wear a helmet but you should never trade that right for your life. Be safe and look for a DOT approved helmet.

Once you know the standards of helmet wear you are looking for you are ready to shop. Several retail stores offer discounts on helmets and you check ads as well. You can also go online to eBay or Amazon and find helmets. At times you can even find them at yard sales that are still in pretty good condition. Many times in purchasing a bike they offer a free helmet in the deal that has been safety tested.

Why It Is Important To Perform Maintenance On Motorcycle Batteries

By Lou Platz

It can be extremely fun, relaxing, and even exciting to go for a ride on a motorcycle. If you own a motorcycle then you probably know that most people are proud to be able to work on their own bikes, without the need of a repair shop. It is very important to make sure that you maintain motorcycle batteries because of the fact that they are such an important part of the bike.

The electric system of a motorcycle involves the battery. It makes the lights and other parts of the motorcycle run. The type of battery needed for your motorcycle will depend on what make and model motorcycle that you have. You will want to look at your owner's manual to make sure that you are getting the right type of battery for your motorcycle.

Corrosion which is otherwise known as battery acid build up on the terminals can keep the battery from functioning properly. This is one of the many reasons that it is important to clean the terminals and keep build up from getting on them. You will also want to make sure there are no loose connections; this can also keep your battery from functioning correctly.

One thing that keeps a motorcycle from running well is corrosion on the cables and connectors. The battery should never leak acid onto the battery connection. It not only causes the bike to lose power, it can cost more money in repairs later down the line. Always check to see if any of the connections, to the battery or otherwise, are secure and not loose.

If you notice that your headlights seem to be dimming or your bike isn't running as smoothly as it once was then checking the battery is probably a good idea. Learning how to recharge the battery using a specific type of charger is an absolute must. Many motorcycles will need recharged if they haven't been ridden or started for at least two weeks.

It is not unheard of for a battery to die while you are out riding your motorcycle. If this happens to you, you should know that with a little ingenuity it can be fixed. You can charge the battery that is messing up by using a set of jumper cables that you will need to attach to a car that has a good battery. You will certainly want to make sure that the car you are using is off because this can cause damage to the motorcycle if there is a current from a vehicle that is running.

When a motorcycle is properly taken care of, it can give the owner many, many years of enjoyment. There are motorcycles still around from the beginning of its conception and they will be here many years to come with proper care and maintenance. - 30329

Biker Brotherhood And Fatherhood

By L.J. James

Many of you out there probably do not know that I L.J. James am the Son of Pappy (Freelance writer on the Biker Lifestyle) ! Hell I didn't know till'86,Well I knew I just didn't know him! Pappy an my Mother got separated when I was young and I didn't see Pappy from around 76 till 86. When I met him he wasn't even known as Pappy yet! That came later.

I had lived with my Mother an step-Father on Long Island in NY till the Summer of 86. I had always been into Bikes and the life style. Many times after getting into some kind of trouble I would hear the saying "He is just like his Father". Little did I know at the time just how true it really was! After getting into some more teenage trouble (you know the deal Drinking,Staying out late, getting brought home by the cops 2 or 3 times). My Mother figured it was time for me to meet my Father. So in the Summer of 86 at the age of 15, I found myself flying up to Rochester NY to meet my Father!

When I first met Pappy He owned a large House and He rented out rooms in the house to College kids and other Bikers. Almost as soon as I got there Pappy started teaching me to Ride a Motorcycle and probably just as important if not more, what the words Respect, Honesty , Loyalty and Brotherhood mean in the Biker World. I still remember clearly one time at a John Fogarty Concert. Me, Pappy and a few other Bikers where in the parking lot looking at Motorcycles. I saw this really cool bike with this paint job that was just unbelievable, I went to touch it and Pappy grabbed my hand looked at me in the eyes and told me "Never touch another mans Bike without his permission" and till this day I never have.

The House Pappy owend was well known by many of the Bikers in the area and was the place many large party's where held, It was not uncommon to find a bunch of Bikers sleeping in the living room any given morning. These Bikers where family to me and when they said "He is just like his Father" it gave me a feeling of over whelming pride! I have always loved hearing the stories these true Brothers of the biker world would tell me. I feel the old Biker stories need to be saved and told over and over again.

New Motorcycle Riders are learning about Biker history from old'60's Biker Gang movies that have no historic truth to them. Just like with any culture if you lose your true history you lose what you really are! I feel the only way to return the Biker world to its true origin is to keep the old stories alive ! Too many "Bikers" complain that the younger Motorcycle Riders of today have no idea what it means to be a Biker! Well I think maybe the problem is that some of the older Bikers never really knew what it meant to be a Biker, Because if they did they would know its their job to teach the next generation! A new Motorcycle Rider must know what the Spirit of Biker Brotherhood is before he can truly feel it and become a part of it. (Maybe that's part of why I became a writer?)

I said at the Beginning of this story Pappy was not yet known as Pappy and I would tell you how that came to be. Well if you remember the Summer of 86 you will remember the Karate Kid Movie was a Big Hit and was on HBO like 10 times a day,Well as far as I could remember I had never called anyone Dad or Father or anything like that. In the Karate Kid they called each other miyagi san and Daniel san! Well thinking I was clever I started calling my Father "Pappy san", He in turn started calling me Son of Pappy and soon after everyone started calling Him Pappy!

Now many of You maybe wondering why the Hell am I telling you all this. Well like I have said there are many Motorcycle riders these days that have no clue what Biker Brotherhood really is. I think it is important that they know this is not something you buy into, But something you grow into. Too many buy a Motorcycle and then do nothing but talk, They are only there for you if you have something to offer them. There are very few true Bikers left, Bikers are being replaced by Motorcycle enthusiasts and part of it is our own fault! I write this story in hopes it will help spread the word that only the true old School bikers can teach the younger generation the true meaning of Biker Brotherhood.

rue Biker who feels the Brotherhood Spirit always has some older Biker to thank for passing that Spirit onto him! I thank my Father Pappy, My Uncle Trey and all the other Bikers Who helped to raise me to be the Biker I am, I am very glad to have been raised by them and I am very Proud to have grown up to be one of them !

Bikers The Last Free Americans

By L.J. James

Whenever a person or group of people try to live their lives free, those who are stuck in unhappy lives will be jealous. Some people have a hard time letting go, freeing themselves from the day to day trials and tribulations of everyday life even for a little while. Others seek an escape from the stress and anxiety often associated with modern day life.

I guess for me, that's part of why I am a Biker. There is something about riding a bike that inspires a sense of freedom in me. The open road, the wind in my face, the smells, getting back to nature, the power of my bike. It's all these things and more that make me feel free. It's unfortunate that there are some people who, for whatever reason, can't find something or someway to let go and experience the sense of freedom that we do. These people, for whatever reason, are the ones who point to us and call us rogues or rebels. They say that what we are doing is wrong and that our culture is a "disruptive influence."

As Bikers, we live our lives a little differently. We work and have responsibilities, but we still know the feeling of freedom. Maybe its because we smile just a bit more and are a bit more relaxed that turns these people green with envy?

A person who works hard and has no free time sees a person on the road riding his or her motorcycle and thinks "I wish that was me!" The thought of being free doesn't leave their mind. They long for it. They crave it badly! How many of you out their have had a friend tell you how they have always wanted to buy a Motorcycle and just go out riding? How many of them ever actually do?

Here is a typical story : A man is driving home from work when he see's a group of motorcycle riders pull up next to him. He looks at this group of people riding together having a great time, He starts to think, "I wish that was me". He then decides, "I'm going to buy a Motorcycle!" He starts thinking about riding. How great it will be to have his wife on the back of his bike and the wind in his face. We could ride up to the lake or maybe that little motel way up in the Mountains. Thinking of the great times he will have he starts to feel that small sense of freedom. He thinks "This must be what those Biker get to feel, Wow!"

He turns into the driveway, parks his truck and rushes into the house to tell his wife about his fantastic idea. "Hi honey, I'm going to buy a Motorcycle." His wife looks at him and says "What? Did you get overwhelmed by the fumes at work again?" "You can't ride a Motorcycle. The man answers back, "I'll learn!"

"You must be crazy", she says. "Those things are death traps! You will kill yourself and we can't afford it!" "Honey this is something I really want" replies the man. "NO NO NO!!! I won't have one of those things in my house! What kind of message would it send to the kids, our neighbors?"

They argue about it, but it the end, the man never gets his motorcycle. He never goes to the lake with his wife or takes that trip up to the little motel in the mountains. He never feels the real sense of freedom one can only get when taking a long trip on a motorcycle. He spends the rest of his life wishing he had never seen that group of Motorcycles. He is angry and bitter.

Now when he see's Bikers he puts them down. He hates Bikers, not because of who or what they are, but because of what he can never be. He hates them because of what they represent. They represent a kind of freedom, sense of belonging, a oneness with nature and the world that he longs for, he craves, but can never have.

We live here in America, the home of the free, but many are not free. They have never experienced the sense of freedom that can only be experienced on two wheels and, for whatever reason, never will. They live boring, uneventful. "safe" lives and complain about those who don't.

Don't hate these envious people, pity them for they will never know the sense of freedom and brotherhood we get from riding with a group of our Bro's. They'll never know the wind in their face, the feeling of peace and oneness with nature we feel as we ride threw the country side or down a long lonely highway. They'll never know the clarity of mind that comes from a long ride alone or the closeness and bond of a long ride or weekend away with someone special. Just thank your higher power that you've found a way to escape, a way to be free, even if for some it's just on the weekends.

Ride Safe and Ride Free because when it all come down to it, this is all about the Ride!

By Kyle Loroft

As the world becomes more and more virtual, making it possible to buy anything you want with just a few clicks of your mouse, it is no wonder that the industry of online discount tires is growing fast. People only find it natural to be able to buy the set of tires they want for their vehicle without ever leaving their home. You get everything you need to install the tires when you purchase them, so all you have to do is sit back and wait for them to be delivered to your doorstep.

There are a ton of websites for buying tires popping up on the internet from all across the United States. Each site allows the consumer to see exactly what options are available for purchasing tires, including cost-effectiveness and purchasing guidelines. This lets the consumer make an educated purchase. Most discount tire websites give you numerous links regarding the your buying options, tire sizes, tire brands, store locations, etc.

Some websites will even post the manufacturers of tires in addition to the kinds of tires and the available sizes for specific vehicles. Others will offer a variety of menus that allow the customer to select his or her purchase from an array of options, and it will also present the discount tires their site carries.

But if you're still having trouble figuring out which discount tires to buy, you can send an email with your questions to one of the tire experts connected to the website. And customers also can use the websites' online hotlines or chat live with support staff 24/7.

By doing this, you will be informed of any features a tire has and what your best options would be based on what you need. Many websites provide you with a huge selection of possibilities from the quality you want to the type of brand you desire.
